This weekend I was shooting poly coated 75 grain wolf and after 200 rounds I had shells starting to stick in the chamber of my 20in and after only 60 rounds in my M-4 they started to stick(Fail to eject and remove via cleaning rod through barrel). These guns have never had any malfunctions with brass ammo.Have any of you had this problem?I have heard that some guns will shoot fine with wolf and some just never will. Thanks!

Yes. People have had this problem.

Clean your chamber and try again. If it doesn't work that time, stick with brass cased in those guns.

I've never had that problem with Wolf but if I did, I'd just clean the chamber and keep shooting.  You're right though, some ARs like it and some don't.

Get a broken shell extractor, I hate hearing people talk about the cleaning rod method.

As usual this thread shouldbe titled: "Rifle Trouble"

Ive shot tens of thousands of rds of wolf and I dont think I have EVER had an FTE. Ive had some FTF's and a lot of short strokes but never a FTE. What kind of rifle do you have pray tell?

M@A 1/7 chrome lined uppers and spikes lowers. And they shoot perfect with brass with never having one malfunction ever...And I clean after every trip to the range.I guess they just do not like wolf.I will try this stuff in my Sabre Defense gun and see what happens.

Broken shell extractors are for case separations.

Besides.  Whenever I've had to bail out a wolf shooter, the case rim is typically bent up.  Thus, the only way to get the case out is through the bore.

Lol, A friend and myself were shooting this last weekend and he has a Dpms and was shooting wolf he had like

7 or 8 rounds get stuck in the chamber he would have to take the bolt out and ram a cleaning rod down the end of the barrel

to get it out I don't know if it was the gun or the ammo my guess would be both.

It's not just Wolf, but because Wolf is so "mildly" loaded, it's more apparent with it.  Steel cases don't seal the chamber well, so gunk gets blown back into the chamber from teh barrel.  It's often just enough to roughen the surface of the chamber, making it harder for the rifle, running on underpowered ammo, to pull the case out.  Since .223 cases are so freakin' small in diameter, the only way to get 'em out is with a cleaning rod down the barrel.

I'd keep a chamber brush on hand, and maybe a spray can of CLP, just in case.

For the record, I have never had a failure to extract using Brown Bear or the Academy Sports' branded Monarch (both made by Barnaul).

Like others have said - get a chamber cleaning brush and make sure it's clean before you shoot the next time.
