What is a good subsonic .22lr round?  By good I mean one that will cycle a 10-22 or a Mark II bolt reliably.  I've used the short versions but only via a single shot.  I'm shooting indoors at a bullet trap and not using a can.

I shoot .22 to save money and get more trigger time in general, i shoot subs cause i have a supressor and i like shooting with no headset all day, so i dont have tons of experiance with the high priced stuff.

cci standard velocity is liekly most reliable of the cheaper subs i have tried it works in all my guns supressor or not but the groups arent very tight accept from my model 41. cci subs dont load well in my 10/22 or model 41 at all. agulia subs liek all aguila rimfire ammo smells funny and it didnt cycle reliably in any of my guns supressor or not.

With the supressor on remington subsonics work flawlessly and shoot great(good groups1-2" at 60 yards) in my 10/22(outside of the 1-2 duds per 100) they generally work fine in my ar as well but dont reset the hammer once in a while, not often enough to be a pain, maybe every other mag so every 40 shots'ish. remington subs didnt work well at all in my model 41.(i save the cci sv for the 41) For the fact that remy subs are $32 a brick at walmart and shoot well from my 10/22 ill deal with manual hammer resets now and again :D

I reciently bought a couple boxes of rws target(the "cheap" one they sell) and it shoots SUPER well and cycled all my guns with the supressor on or off. it looks pretty simmilar to a cci standard velocity, phisically,  but its all lubed and nice and shoots very tight groups from my green mountian barrel. At $6.50 per 50 i dont plan to shoot them for fun that often, but its nice for hunting with the 10/22.

CCI Subsonic will cycle my stock 10/22 reliably.

Have yet to try on my new MK II Standard.
