So I picked up about 1000 rds of Military Classic Wolf recently, and just got back from the range. I was a little hesitant on using this stuff after reading some bad reviews on Wolf on here, but I must say, it was pretty good for plinking. I fired about 200 rds, and was very impressed. I had 3 FTF's the whole day, but I also picked up some "new" used mags, so it could be that too. All the FTF's came from the "new" mags, not from my new Colt's.
I would definately purchase the Wolf again. The gun was dirtier then when I fire brass, but not as dirty as when I fired the Barnaul stuff. Just my $.02 |

the black box has coper coting on the bullet is not that better?? same price In theory, the black box is a copper jacketed bullet with a lead core. MC is a bi-metal jacket (copper-washed mild steel some would call it) and has a lead core. MC bullets will attract a magnet, and (in theory) the black box stuff won't. Generally, BB Wolf is also boxer primed, and so you could reload it once, if you wanted to. People like MC because it seems "hotter" and so has fewer cycling problems. YMMV |
