| Anyone ever buy from cabelas? I have bought many things from them but never ammo. Do they have any deals on ammo? Shipping charges?? e.t.c. I have had great service from them on fishing and hunting items just never bought ammo from them. Thanks for your input. |

I got a gift card and there was a $20 off a $100 purchase around Christmas time. I ordered 1,000 rounds of Aguila Super Maximum Velocity for my GSG-5, 500 rounds of Super Colibri for my K-22 Combat Masterpiece and a Hoppe's silicone cloth to get over $100. Had it shipped for free to the store so the total was $60.17 or so.
The first part of the order arrived and each 500 brick of ammo came in a box similar to their large dry boxes although the box was slightly different. I'm happy even though I haven't gotten to shoot any of the Super Max. Velocity yet. If you've got one close, go for the free shipping to the store, it's another reason to stop in and look for old S&W revolvers or whatever trips your trigger. ETA: Federal 5.56 200-round black boxes are on sale for $79 again, just got the newest flyer. FWIW, Scott |
