As a "newbie" to the AR Addiction, I am able to find answers to most questions already answered somewhere on this Oustanding website. Except:

Most seem to have the opinion that combloc .223 ammo isn't suitable for much more than plinking or range shooting for reasons of low velocity, and some malfunction issues etc...

Is all this combloc ammo being produced for shooting enthusiasts or there military or governments out there somewhere using this?  Curious..

None of the major (former) Combloc powers use 5.56 ammo; it's all 5.45x39 and 7.62x39. Obviously they produce ammo for their military in the Billions of rounds. Most 7.62x39 and 7N6 5.45x39 is military grade.
