would a cooler work for (duck tape lid) ammo storage ? with dessicant packs |

Sure. It would work. If your ammo is stored in a location with temperature swings, it would even them out. If there were a fire and the ammo cooked off, the ice chest wouldn't contain the gas, the top would pop off, even with duct tape. Unless you live in Louisiana and don't have AC, the dissicant is a waste of money. (I'm assuming you don't plan on using it to transport to the range!) |
