I bought some reloaded 5.56 ammo at the gunshop today.  It is 55 grain FMJ, the brass is lake city.  Im not sure who reloads it but it comes in a blue box with a white flap.  I got to the range, when I was loading a mag I noticed some of it was dented quite severely, I decided to shoot the decent looking ones anyway.  So I load up a mag, and fire, first thing I notice is this shit has like double the recoil of any ss109 or m193 Ive ever fired.  I only shot 10 rounds of it and figured it might hurt my gun so just went back to my new 22 to burn up some bulk pack.  Is there a possibility this hot loaded ammo can mess up my rifle or even blow up in it?  I know, stupid question.

ultramax maybe?  I shot 100 rounds of their 52gr hollow point one day.  First round, let go of the charging handle and the bullet pushed inside of the case all the way like their was no crimp and/or a loose case neck.  Next 99 went bang just fine.  All were LC brass as well.

Georgia Arms. They use LC brass and so far have been good for me.

I was thinking it could be ultramax or georgia arms but there are absolutely no markings on these boxes except for "223REM-55 gr. Full Metal Jacket"

If the manafacturer is not listed on the box you have to assume that they won't back their own product.
