Has anyone tried the Magtech 55 gr .223 blue box ? I was just curious as I have used their handgun loads without any problems. I saw some at Cabelas for about $22 for 50. I didn't see it on the ammo list , so that's why I'm asking . Thanks guys

I wanted to know as well, so I bought 3 boxes last weekend.  Blew through them without a single problem.  I use the .40 and .357 in my handguns without any problems as well. They are inexpensive enough to warrant future purchases.

I used some Magtech Pistol ammo (9mm) a long while back........it appeared to be re-loads........the brass had some (water?) spots but, it worked fine.

I recently purchased 6 boxes from a local sporting shop for $19 each.  I took them out and shoot them all  They ran just fine through both of my Bushmaster rifles and accuracy was good to boot.  I would not hesitate using this ammo again.  Overall a reasonably priced range round.

I've used a few boxes without problems.  There is at least one thread about Magtech ammo (started by me) that I think is now in the archives.  The consensus from those that posted was that it is good to go.  One poster said they knew a range that used it in their rental guns and fired thousands of rounds a month without a problem.  I'm wondering now if he might have meant their pistol ammo though.

Made in Brazil.  It's all good stuff.

I worked at that range that uses Magtech in the range/rental guns, and for general sale.  It was cheaper than Win white box, ALWAYS went bang, and has some of the most consistent brass for reloading that I've ever seen.

At first we went through a pallet a month, then it was a pallet a week!  Hard to beat it.

I bought some Magtech ammo for the first time yesterday.  Guy at the store said it was what they used for their CCW classes and it was good ammo.  Looked it up and found their website.  Sounds like they've been making ammo a long time.
