to me it looks like the ar15.c0m online store has 2k for 840.00 im guessing this is the green tipped lc m855??

That might be your best bet right now, new production lc m855 is scarce. You could go to wideners and check out the privi partisan m855, or go to surplusammo.com and they have lc m855 for $550 per k.

Thanks, the Prvi is a good deal but a little on the dirty side for me, I shot a bunch of it yesterday. I may wait a while on AR store thats a good price compared to Surplus ammo.
