Hi guys, I have been looking at the charts Molon has posted.  The charts that show how a specific bullet will travel at a given distance.  Where can i find a chart on line and how do i generate the info.

I have an 11.5" colt 5.56 1/7 twist barrel with an eotech.  I am shooting hornady 5.56 T2 ammo and would like to see the bullet path.  I'd like to know if the bullet will still entersect at 50 and 200 out of the short barrel.  I can only shoot out to 100yrds so i'd like an idea of where my bullet would impact at 200.

Also, i'd like to be able to compare shooting the privi 75g and what the differences would be between the 2.  I'd like to start using the privi 75g as practice ammo but not if the POI is going to be way off.

Thanks

I hope molon reads and replies.

If you can give me your chronographed velocities of the ammunition from your barrel, I can post some data for you.

Yeah, that is the problem, i dont have any chronographed data.  Nor do i have the equipment to test it.  I was kinda hoping that someone (maybe you) might already have the info on hand because of all the testing you have done.

Thank you for your offer, i guess i'll need to invest in either a longer distance shooting range or buy the equipment to do the testing.

Based on all the data you have collected, would a 5" drop at 200yds shooting the slower privi 75g seem reasonable out of an 11.5" barrel?  I don't need exact but a close guess would help.

Thanks

A 14.5" barrel (with a permanently attached extended flash suppressor) is the shortest barrel the unwashed masses in my state are allowed to own.  From a 14.5" Colt M4 barrel the PPU 75 grain match load runs approximately 220 fps slower than the Hornady's 5.56 TAP load from the same barrel.

At a distance of 200 yards, the PPU load will impact approximately 1.8" lower from the difference in velocity alone.

Molon, thank you very much.  Sorry to hear your state is not sbr friendly.
