We are in the middle of a war there is no 'surplus' ammo. If you're lucky you'll find 2nds, or you can find commercial production (like the Winchester listed above). Check the tacked threads in the ammo forum there are links to places where you can get ammo at decent prices. |

OF course that is not a problem. And if you want to penetrate a steel helmet at 600y you can buy pulled M855 bullets periodically (I've got a bunch). Though if you're looking for car door penetration you'll do better with the 60gr Nosler Partitions or the Federal 55gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. |
nitpicky here M855 is a complete round, so there are no "pulled M855s". The bullet from the M855 is the SS109, so the correct question would be "where do you get your pulled ss109?" And the answer is lots of places have them or have had them recently. Grafs, hi-techammo, pats reloading, wideners... |
I second that. I am looking at 1000 round of Igman right now. Placed the order yesterday and it arrived today. You cannot beat that. Anyone who ships the same day is A+ in my book. He gives active military and LE discount. This was the best deal I could find on M855 |
