This is from a 200 rd box of Federal Rem 50grain, 3,400fps JHP I bought at WalMart.
The round in the background had the projectile shoved back into the casing as the round came up the ramp. This happened to a friend of mine also. Anybody had similar issues?

The gun is a Bushmaster AR15 with maybe 500rds thru it. This was the first time I've ever pulled the trigger on it and it didn't go bang (at least if it was loaded)http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff281/500hpss/guns/DSC_6653.jpg

Yes, this has happend everytime I use this stuff.  I am shooting a 11.5" barrel with a suppressor...so it does get fouled up more than normal.  Mine does it after about 15-25 rounds.  I am going to shoot it more this week and try some things.

Probably have to do like with the UMC and check and recrimp the rounds on inspection before loading them in the mags.I assume the name "Value Pak" means just that.... bulk loaded as maybe a few miss the QC eyes.I could never figure why a hollow point can be cheaper than a FMJ but seems they are.
Those shoot about the best I have ever seen in my Armalite A2 "Infantry Rifle" with a Levang compensator and 4x16 tactical scope. The target here I shot at the range the other day with the rifle on a Harris bipod firing at 100 yards. This is two twenty round mags and you see the results with any stray shots still just slightly in the outside of the center. Some strikes are under the red circle I drew on it.It does not perform as well in my Armalite M4 with 16" barrel so maybe the short barrel is what it does not like. This round and rifle have accounted for a number of coyotes and assorted other varmints and I try to buy evry box of the VP's that I find and can afford

My one upper is finicky and does this....... It all depends on the ramps for the upper. I am sending it off to get a cleaner cut.

I tried different ammo and hollow points were the worst.
