Yea, it's fine. I have shot 75 gr 5.56 loaded ammo out of my 1/9 twist. The twist only serves to spin the bullet so it becomes stabilized. There is no safety hazzard with reguards to twist rate. At best, if a twist rate was super fast and the bullet was super light, you could theoreticly spin the bullet so fast that it would spin apart, but i believe that would occurr after it left the barrel. I would worry about it as the 64 gr should give good accuracy out of your 1/9 twist. |
