Does the BH Blue box 68grOTM have a cannaclure?

I know the 75gr has a cann.

ALSO WHY did BH only put a cann. on the 75gr hornady load
and not the 69  77 SMK loads

I bought some awhile back. Not the most accurate load I have bought from BH. I prefer the the 69 and 77 SMK.

All the 68 has always had a cannelure.  75 used to never have one untill Black Hills started buying the cannelured version for a couple years now it has ALL been cannelured.  I know of no 69 grain cannelured Sierra bullet.  Sierra only even made the cannelured 77 for the MK 262 spec and for nothing else.  So you can get cannelured 77 SMK by buying MK 262.  The 77 grain ammo is for MAXIMUM accuracy so I dont expect or even want it to have a cannelure in the Blue Box and Red Box lines.  I have also not had luck with the 68 as far as accuracy.

I have bought BLUE 77gr and 2 case of Blue 75gr along with MK262

the blue 77smk load is AWESOME out of a LMT M4 14.5 defender 2000

The blue 75gr with cann. is a darn accurate round useing my ML2 aimpoint I get ragged 10rd groups at 50 yards

I find the 77 just a bit more accurate but not by much

and the white box 77gr is Very accurate as well

I would take the Blue box 77 over the white box 77 AS FAR AS ACCUARCY

Did Black Hills add the cann to the 75gr  for us AR15 shooters
or just happen that way?

The 68gr ammo all has cannalure and a HEAVY crimp.

the 69gr just as a crimp, no cannalure

The 77gr non-MK262 has no cannalure

The 75gr DOES have a cannalure

The 3 MK262 rounds I took apart all have what some could consider a "light" cannalure that looks like it was just "kissed" with a tool. And I mean, it is not nearly as deep as what you see on 55gr FMJ bullets.

The crimp on the MK262 is pretty light as well. (they don't chamfer the insides of the cases before they seat the bullets, from the looks of the cases)
