No, the MK262 MOD1 ammo that is available is actually the White Box (ie. Factory Seconds). Black Hills uses the following color scheme: Black/Gold = Premium ammo Red = Factory new ammo Blue = commercial reloads White = Factory "seconds" you might get a 1 dented case in a box of 50 rounds |
so it would be a step above mk262 is waht your saying???? sorry ![]() cuz i have some mk262 and i like it...but this would be "better" than the stuff i have??????? |
I would say it's actually below the mk262 because blue box ammo is reloaded brass. Black Hills sells White Box ammo because they are not willing to compromise the integrity of the ammo the ship to the DoD. Better to sell a few lots as "scratch and dent" than piss off the big green weenie!!! |

Got a case. Now we'll all see whether the 4" groups I print at 100 yards are a result of lousy ammo, lousy barrels, or me being a lousy shot! The BH red box 55 grain from the last Kaiser sale is the most accurate .223 I've yet tried in my 1:7 ARs. If this stuff tightens things up further i'll be really happy. |

I can bring 50 pounds of ammo on an airliner, but loaded ammo can't be sent by air to here dammit. Frikken sucks.
