Did a search, but did not find answer.

At what point does a dent in the case become an issue. I'm not talking a deformed round that looks like it will shoot around a corner.

While loading some XM193 onto strippers I found a round with a dent at the neck. Not huge, but more than a little ding.

When does it become an issue?

Hard to tell. Look at the Ammo Oracle for some representative dings. Usually I don't mind shooting dinged rounds unless there's a crease or something where the metal might have been weakened significantly.

I've shot rounds that had dings in the shoulder area, and I reload cases that have slight dings in the body with no prblems, but I'd say, yeah, if it was creased or dinged to where there was an obvious bend to the neck, me personally, I'd cull out. It may not feed properly. But then again, AR rifles are generally a forgiving and stout breed of gun, so without seeing it..........eh, hard to tell.

Some of the pics on the ammo oracle don't work, but it is nothing like the bad one they showed. There is no crease where the dent is.

At this point, I'll just put it in with the range ammo.

+1 unless they have a crease or crack, then it gets tossed.
