| From my experience, any Lake City (XM193, M855, and even American Eagle)has been good, Radway good, other than some dirty brass, Sellier & Bellot M193 has been one of the better. Pulling 2" groups at 200yds off the tailgate of my truck. The only rounds I've had problems with was some ADCOM that didn't like to feed, and a few cracked case necks found while loading mags. I never had any of the over preassure problems that others did, but I only had bought a few hundred. So far, thats all I've ran through my Bushy 16HBAR A3. |

I would recommend buying a bunch of different ammo and seeing what runs best in your rifle. American Eagle, UMC, Wolf, Guatemalan/South African/British surplus, XM193, XM855, Hornady, Black Hills, 55gr, 62gr, 77gr, etc. etc. Just buy a couple hundred rounds of whatever you can get your hands on and see what happens. Eventually, you'll figure out what your rifle likes best (shoots accurately/runs reliably) and then you can load up on that stuff. |

thanks guys for the information, i purchased about 100 rounds of each of the ones listed below to get an idea of what fires well in my gun, the gun is brand new, and i want to get a feel for it before i start modying it....now time to look for magazines... hopefully i can get something within a few weeks, i hear all the decent c product mags are all out of stock at the moment... Don't forget about Black Hills Ammo (if you can find it). Their ammo is some of the most accurate ammo there is around. Personally out of a 1/7 I found that the 75g BHBB is the most accurate without going to something more expensive. Even the 55g shoots really good groups. |
