Hey all, Has anyone tried this yet? Anyone know what specs it's loaded to? |

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/tinmanfx/P1010190.jpg this was the Fiocchi 55g fmj at 50yrds(couldn't get on the 100 that day) on a 3" shoot-n-c. No chrono data but 9rds. about one shot a sec from a 14.5 Bushy 1/9. The flyer was first shot until then compensated for the rise since I'm sighted in at 100yrds. I'm no match shooter but I'd say the ammo shot pretty decent all things considered. |

2 years ago I bought Fioncci shotgun shells for pheasant hunting that were made in MO. I cut one open and it had crap for pellets. This year with some encouragement bought a new box and cut open another and the pellets were very nice... So I would be confident enough to shoot the .223 for practice. oh and it says .223 on the box so would be SAMMI spec .223 they wouldn't make a mistake and be 5.56. |
It's has been there as long as I have lived near it, so at least 15 years, it is only a mile form my front door. I first play around with it in september www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=16&t=296124 It uses Hornady's 55gr FMJ bullet so its more accurate than most if not all 55gr FMJ loads out there. If I had to guess I guess that its closer to M193 in terms of its load than typical .223. I had zero malfunctions with the 400rds I shot threw my CMMG M4, if I could find it I would buy more of it, its very nice ammo. |
