I got a few boxes of 62 grain soft point from a guy. There aren't any inherent issues when it comes to feeding an AR with soft point rds is there?

I feel silly for asking but I just have never given it much thought or bought any since catching BRD.

Nope. I shoot Winchester 55grn PSP in my M16. Have to as it is an indoor range.. Not a problem in the least.

Soft points run just fine.

There are reports of *some* soft point ammo clogging up the feedramps after shooting hundreds/thousands of rounds... but that wont be much of an issue for the average shooter.

I have found that black hills 55 gr soft points are one of the most accurate in my bushy 16 inch averaging around 1 inch groups. I have never had a problem with the soft points. I have also shot alot of them in my H&K 91 which has alot more recoil without problems.

I often reload using 55 grain soft points and I haven't had any problems with them functioning.  They fragment quite nicely too

55 gr. spire points work just fine for me, even with a standard barrel extension.
