Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this ammo has corrosive or non-corrosive powder. Also, what does PD stand for? Thanks.

POWDER is not corrosive.  You need to worry about PRIMERS.  Some mixtures used to be quite corrosive.  But US manufactured, military ammunition since the late 1950s has used noncorrosive primers exclusively.  Made in 2000?  NO PROBLEM!

I shot some 00 M855 PD this weekend with zero problems, actually I have never had a single bad round of PD ammo.

As for what PD stands for if you ask 10 people you will get 10 different answers.  The latest I have heard is it stands for "pulled down" but I don't know for sure.  One thing I do know is that PD ammo is never boxed it is always bulk packed
