OK.., finally got a ETA! I called SG on Wensday the 16th to cancel my Back order for 2K of Wolf .223 They said that if I wanted to wait just a few more days tha It will be in on the 18th, and will be shipped out to me by the 21st. I'll give it a few more days. I kind of want the Ammo...., 2K for $255 shipped is a pretty good price these days. Of course it's only a good price if it actually shows up!!!  Do you think they're just yank'in my chain...., or.....???? |

I called the other day to change my CC# for an order I had for 2 of the 500rd tubs of Wolf. It was listed as backorder until end of Sept. When I called they told me it was due in the 18th of this month (Today) and should ship soon there after. We'll see..... I had this on order already and will keep it on BO, but it is probably the last order I will have placed with them. |
Snce Feb I have received all 10k in backordered ammo that I ordered. I just got my .223 at $99 per k last week. Everytime I ordered it it was on backorder, and everytime I received it at the correct price. It may take time and they dont charge your credit card till it ships. I dont see what the big deal is. Leave it on backorder forever if the price is right and if you get it great, if not your not out anything.

Backordering, waiting and getting charged the price you purchased it for isn't the problem - getting billed at a higher price is. I got all of my 1K 55 gr. backorders at the right price, but SG tried to pull a fast one when I ordered a couple of 300 round 62 gr. packs at $37.97 a pack. SG raised prices the next day to $47.97 a pack and decided to charge me that amount. My e-mail receipt showed the $37.97 price and I didn't realize they charged me the increased price until my shipment showed up and I looked at the printed receipt. It took about 20 minutes going arguing back and forth on the phone before "the management" agreed to credit my card the difference. |

Yeah, you might get lucky and they will honor the price and reinstate the order. Of course, you might join the ranks of those of us that had confirmed sales but SG decided to raise the price if you still wanted it. Or you might be one of those that orders what they consider to be more than for personal use (whatever that means) and they'll deny your Buyer's Club and increase the shipping. Or you might be one of those for whom they simply say the order is cancelled but you can reorder (at the current price) if you want. You just never know what you'll get when you order from the French. |
My original order was placed 7-16-06 for (4) 500 round tubs of 55 gr FMJ I receved a Backorder notice by mail on 8-2-06 stating "THIS ITEM WILL BE SHIPPED WITHIN 30 DAYS" |
