Silly question aptly covered by: www.ammo-oracle.com, which is tacked to the top of this very forum. All rifles are different some will prefer the M855, some the M193, read the Faq! Mike |
+1 ...this is my experience also in 1:7 It might also have much to do with what M855 and where you got it (LC, PD, IMI, WWB, ADCOM, RORG, etc). The only way to know is to shoot it in your rifle and then you'll know. A response in an internet forum is no substitute for your direct knowledge. |

I wanted opinions from a wider cross section and I understand that I must ultimately do some testing on my own. I'm a reloader and understand the differences in ammo and the need for testing. I just wanted some more opinions.... for those that have given and will give helpful opinions, it is MUCH appreciated! |

My bushmaster shorty 1/9 shoots the SS109 bullets tighter than the M193 My Bushmaster 20 hbar also but I sold that rifle LMT Defender M4 14.5 1/7 twist also shoots the SS109 bullet tighter My spare LMT M4 upper likes the SS109 bullet better than M193 All my AR`S Love the Santa Barbra SS109 THe Best for some strange reason it shoots like a BTHP/OTM |
