I was in the local gunshop today and found a whole bunch of Federal XM193 sitting there for$4.99 a box. My ? is the lot #, it was LC-088. Can anyone tell me the year. I consulted the Oracle but couldn't find the answer. Thanks.

I am looking at my 2 500 rd packages right now

It is also lot #088  Headstamp on the ammo is LC04


And I only paid 3.99 a box for mine..

I just checked lots 093, 094, and 096. All three include headstamps dated of LC03 & LC04. I believe someone had posted before that the headstamp date was the year the brass was made.
