[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Surplus .308

I'm trying to find a reliable surplus .308 round for target/plinking. Id like to stock up a couple hundred rounds for just in case. Its for a Springfield M1A Scout.

I saw some Lake City .308 for sale, but after reading several of the threads, it seems like it might be crap ammo. Sounds like Aussie ammo may be decent, but haven't seen it for sale anywhere.

AUSSIE and PORT are the two best right now. Some South African has been popping up and most say good things about it.

Go ahead and buy 1000 rounds at a time. It will go fast and is generally a little cheaper by the case.
