I saw this in the November issue and was wondering if anybody has had experince with this, it seems alot easier to use than balistic gel . would this give similar results as balistic gel?
any replies will be appreciated

The biggest problem is that it is opaque; you won't be able to see the wound channel without chopping up the block.  Another is that you aren't using one solid block, but rather pieces that could be misconfigured, rearranged, or introduce other errors.

You could melt them down and cast them as one block to overcome problem number 2, but problem one seems to be the main issue.
