Anyone know of a reliable, and preferably "reasonably priced" ie. cheap source for Winchester's Q3131A?

I just bought some from Cabela's, 3.99 for 20 rounds.  They don't list it on their web site so I had to call and ask about it, 1800-237-4444.  The item number they use for it was ZB-21-0889, SKU 22005-651.  I don't know if you were looking for someplace to buy it in bulk or not, but as for me I have never been able to talk my wife into letting me spend the $$ for a few thousand rounds all at once. :)

Ammoman has it for $199/1000 rounds delivered.  That is the best price from a proven source that I know of.

Check out Outdoor Marksman.  I am fortuate they are local for me.   Not sure what SH would cost to the East coast would be, but $159 for a case of 1000 isn't too bad.

i don't think you meant that item.  that's "Q3131", not "Q3131A".

$0.1575 per round for IMI M193, manufacturer of Q3131A, 1200 round case for $189 shipped.

I hear they are temporarily out of stock though.

    Bass Pro in Springfield, MO has Q3131A on the shelf for $3.99.  I think I might try some of this stuff.  Its not a pretty looking round by any means, and a cheap package.  I haven't been shooting an AR long, but I'm looking for some reasonable priced ammo.  With tax that'd be around $212 for 1000 rounds.  I think Cabelas would ship it cheaper than Bass Pro.  Buying online other places is cheaper, but most places charge at least $20-25 to ship.  So walking in and buying whatever I need at the time seems worthwhile.  Then I don't have to deal with joeschmuck.com to wait a week, and have to be home to sign for the package.  I'm never home during delivery hours.  Outdoormarksman.com would be $181.05 shipped though.  I can't judge anything yet, I haven't even tried this stuff yet.  I've been shooting UMC & some XM193 given to me.

How does this round compare to the XM193?  After 20 rounds of XM193 with slow firing, my 16" CAR was REAL warm.  It was also shooting a huge fireball.  Mark

If you can wait a few months, around Sept, I think, Bass Pro has it and they put it on sale for about $2.80 per box.  Thats what they had it for last year.  I bought a case and sadly, I havnt had a chance to fire a single shot.  Go figure....

Bought 500rds of Q3131A today at Academy Sports, for $3.99@box, not real cheap, but cheap enough!
Would've bought more, but that's all they had!

I just bought a case at Bass Pro as an impulse buy.  I mean there was just one case sitting there all by itself.  $199 plus tax.  Not a great price, but I was carrying it out to the truck 10 minutes after I saw it.
