Is $38 a good price for South African 300 round battle packs?

38/300 = 12.7 cents per round.

This is probably the best price I have seen since SA battlepacks went scarce.

Not a bad price, but make sure you compare that to new production M193 and check the shipping rates before you buy.

If you can get new production M193 ammo for 15 cents or less per round I would get that instead, since the SA ammo is 20 years old.

I think i bought the last he had. I offered $100 for 3 packs and he took $105 + tax. He said he got them for almost nothing in a trade.
