Just thought I would share my last shooting experience with you. I bought my first Ar15 in 1976 and sometime between '76-'78 I bought 1K of Lake City 70 on stripper clips and put it in a 50 cal. ammo can. I shoot some of it over the years and then it was push back into the closet until recently when I rediscovered it. I still have ~400 rounds and took 20 rounds to the range for a test. I don't have a chronograph but it shoots just as hot and with as much flash as the 02 Lake City that I have.

Just wanted to pass this along!

I don't know what's worse, that you've had an AR since I was 3, or the fact that you have leftover ammo.
Some people have all the luck.[beer]
