[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help: Need ammo recommendation, please.

I'm running low on South African 55gr for my 16" 1x9 chrome lined HBAR and I've learned recently that SA has become a difficult find these days (been buying locally).

So, what do you folks recommend I switch to? I want something reliable and readily available, not cheap but not match quality either.

Winchester Q3131A
IMI M193

All are new-production M193-spec ammo, and prices are pretty good these days. I'd be stocking up. Of course, for range use, use whatever.

After doing some much needed research, I ordered up a 1200 round case of IMI M855 today. I should be good to go, for at least a little while...

Try Sellier & Bellot in 140 round brown boxes.
They are much more accurate then the PMP stuff in all my AR's.
