I have some 5.56mm ammo that came on strippers in an unmarked 5 pocket bandoleer. The head stamp has a nato cross, 86 and RG. Is this british ss 109?

RG is for Radway Green. It's british. Did you try a magnet? I would think it would have to be ss109 if it has the nato cross.
