$7.47 a box of 40,not a bad price, since it was white box 55 gr. fmj I assumed it was q3131 or q3131a but it`s not.The headstamp is commercial and the primer is not crimped.Has anyone shot this ammo.? If you did what did you think?I havent tried it yet and I will soon but the thought of buying ammo. where I buy groceries is a warm thought.
Thanks,
Bossman

My AR didn't like the stuff.  It is not as hot as the Q3131A or the XM193 lake city.  I had quite a few short strokes so I don't use it anymore.

Lots of people have good luck with this stuff , but use it for the RANGE only...

That would be almost $0.20 per round after tax. Why would you buy that unless you absolutely had to?

Just order some Q3131a...

I have shot a whole bunch of it. Probably more than 1000 rounds and have not had a single problem. One thing about that ammo though, is that it leaves a gold dust on my fingers and gets all over the rifle.

I have found it to be more accurate than 193, but it is about 200fps slower. It is great on paper, but for paper alone.

i have shot it before with no problems, but i would rather support a local hunting/shooting store.  i try not to shop at welfaremart if i don't have to.  i only buy bulk now.
