What would be the best .223 ammo to put up for "SHTF" ? I've got Wolf shit now but don't want to rely on that. I'm wanting to put up a "few" rounds for my Bushy's.

My personal choice would be IMI M855, IMI M193, Black Hills 77gr match king, & Winchester Q313A which is made by IMI. The reason I like IMI so much is (1)It's new made, (2)It's good quaility, (3) It's made by the Isrealys. Black Hills ammo is just really good stuff any way you slice it. The new 77gr is combat tested, & has the extra weight, that will stabilize in my 1/7 bbl AR.

Same here, mil-spec hotter loaded M193s and Black Hills stuff (68 or 77 gr depending on how long you wanna touch. 68 gr seems to be a lot cheaper than 77 gr, though) for 200 yards and more. I think Winchester Q3131As are really good for all purposes, except for longer ranges I've mentioned above. Well I really don't care if it is made in Israel or not, but the product itself seems to be one of the best.
