I know people who have had good luck, but I ordered 4 things from them. One year later I still had nothing and was fighting to get my money back (which I did get). Cheap prices are not worth the problems. I tried to save $10, and was irrate for a year. Doesn't seem worth it to me. |

I've made one purchase from Botach, last December.Bought some IMI ammunition which they shipped promptly at a good price with reasonable shipping charges. I'd suggest (1) calling to make sure what you want is in stock, and (2) paying by credit card so you have recourse if your order isn't shipped. My experience was good and I got a great price on new IMI M193 and M855. YMMV. |
| I talked with Leney Shavaul, who is the head of sales for IMI. He said in order to get some IMI ammo I needed to go through a local distributor. The only distributor I could find in the USA of loaded IMI ammo is Botach. If you have problems call their #, & use ext 109, & ask for Ephram, as he is in charge of ammo sales. I know from personal experiance they are a PITA to deal with, but it's the only way to get IMI that I know of. Maybe some one who knows how to do a group buy could set up a deal for some IMI ammo if there is enough intrest. Dont look at me, I dont know how it works.[noclue] |

According to forum moderator at [url]www.imisammo.com[/url], his "rubber stamp" reply is Botach and Wideners. Complaints there about Botach, and Wideners wants stuff, but IMI does not ship. Read some of the posts, kinda repeatitive posts and replies. I wonder what it would take to be a Vihta Vuori and IMI distributor, committed to a lot better service? |
| I ordered some Glock LE mags last May. They arrived in June and had someone else's initials and numbers (badge numbers?) engraved on the bottom. I sent them back and argued with them until I convinced them that they were used when I got them. After many phone calls and E-mails, I finally got my mags last week. Only took them 8 months to get it right. Good prices though [:p] |
