The stuff is a little underpowered but is good blasting ammo. Not for SHTF ammo.
Go to the Ammunition section of the board and look at the ammo FAQ

Hope this helps!

i bought 900 rounds of this ammo last year.
if you dont mind having a single shot rifle youll love it.
problem with this ammo is that it is underloaded.
the standard load is too powerful for the british L85 (SA-80).
Sooo they came up with a weaker load that functioned better in the L85, unfortunately the ammo fails to funtion in an M-16/AR-15 type rifle. it causes the weapon to short stroke.
i didnt have much luck with the 900 rounds i bought. hope this helps.
if possible buy some South African battle packs, they are cheaper and more reliable.

I went through 3 cans of the stuff last year at a Carbine course at Blackwater without a hiccup.  However, it won't cycle properly in my rifle (20").  I've never had any problems with my carbines.  I've shot batches from 86 and 88 with no problems, but according to the board members, I'm a minority.

There was a production change to this ammo.  Before the change the ammo will function great in the M16/AR15 series, afterwards it's downloaded to work in the L85 rifles and will often drive these rifles into fits.

I wish I knew the breakpoint.  Mid 1980's Radway Green 5.56mm shoots to M855 spec.  1990's doesn't.
