I bought a couple of cases of PMP's "commercial" .223 about two years ago.  I have not shot any for awhile as I have several other types/manufatures that I have been using as well a friend who reloads and gives me tons of it to shoot for the brass I give him.  Anyways, I take some PMP out a week ago and try to put some through my Bushmaster shorty and it fires but does not cycle the round properly and causes a jam with the spent shell.  Has anyone else had this problem with this ammo?  It works fine in my Mini and my buddy's Colt but not my Bushmaster.  I put some Gutamalean(sp) and some Wolf through it after I tried the PMP with not a single problem.  Any comments...

Thanks

I've heard that the Commercial PMP is loaded a little lighter than the battlepack ammo.  I've had no trouble shooting it through my AR's or M16.  The nice thing is like you said, it is reloadable.

Bush Sniper,
I had the exact problem out of my bushy.  I bought 500 rounds when I bought the rifle and could not get the PMP to function.  I tried several different things, but nothing worked.  I simply traded someone for different ammo,  and never went back to PMP. I maily shoot current M193 and surplus South African, with ZERO problems. Some said it was underloaded and would cycle the rifle.  I did notice it improved function somewhat after I throughly cleaned and LUBED the rifle.  My bushy came dry as a bone, it worked better after I coated the bolt with some CLP.
