Looks a lot like mine but mine has the gas tube hole drilled . mine was a Colt police trade in kit.

I also have a Colt 16 in 9mm that just has a C on the FSB on the right side. All original Colt barrel and upper.

I'm hoping it's real. I sent them a money order to purchase one as well. The seller advertised it as an unfired Colt SMG upper on Gun Broker. They got my funds this past Wednesday. No word from them yet on shipping.

Unfired Colt SMG Upper

I'm going to give the new upper a part time job on my SBR.

I did get a tracking number this afternoon, after I sent the seller a message requesting one. USPS tracking showed my money order was delivered Wednesday morning. She told me she picked up the money order Thursday, and shipped the upper to me Thursday evening. It still shows it's sitting at a UPS pack and ship store. I think what feedback she has is good. I just think selling these items is a side job. If you look at the items she has sold in her feedback, it looks like really nice stuff at good prices. I would love to have access to whoever her supplier is.

yeah,I'm debating on whether to pull the trigger on this upper
She does have quality items, but no answer to 3 e-mails makes me antsy
how much did she charge for shipping.not listed
what lower are you running there?
4/22/2016 10:31:21 PM EDT
[#8]
She charged me $25.00 to ship UPS to Kentucky. Tracking now shows delivery next Tuesday.

The lower is Rock River Arms with a top loading Hahn dedicated magwell adapter. The RRA lower was was of the few that came marked 9mm when I filed the Form 1 back in 2007. I'll post pics after it comes next week. Rudy at Macon Armory has already said he'll ramp the bolt for me.

That seller was selling colt 32 Rd mags here a while back. I bought 6 from them and everything was good to go....

the stamping is under the handguards on top of the barrel for the sub gun barrel. the blade is nice. it is light weight and doesnt feel so bulky like the sig brace. it sits nice for a cheek weld.

yes the BCG is staked.

Thanks for all your input guys.i appreciate it.
Still looking & she doesn't reply to e-mail\messages
If I do get it, I shouldn't have to ramp bolt as it's going on a Colt 9mm lower
Let me know how it looks Tuesday

Pulled the trigger after she got back to me
Paid for with Paypal.
I offered a deal for the 9mm upper & 20inch 5.56 she has listed & she told me she is consigning these for someone
and couldn't take less than their Reserve. So hope to get this little 9 upper before the end of the week.
I'm going to wait on BCM to get more of their 20 inchers & put it on the BCM lower I got from them.
Keep me posted on your transactions with this GunBroker seller please.
Then I have to stop the SBR sickness!

what ammo do you run out of her?
since this is going to be mainly HD ,I was thinking of running Winchester or Federal 147 HP's
My Colt's & Glock love that ammo
My stamp should be back hopefully within the next few weeks & want to take her out asap.
Thanks again for your help & let me know how that upper from [email protected] looks & operates.
By the way she took Paypal gift for the transaction which was very nice & should expedite shipping.
Thanks again

My Colt SMG upper was delivered today. Other than being a little dry, it looks great. In fact, it looks to be in a new, unfired condition as advertised. The bolt is unramped, and the front pivot lug binds a little at the rear when I pivot the upper onto my SBR lower, but that is OK by me. Pics as promised.

Colt SMG bolt on top is identical to my Colt 6450 bolt on bottom.

Colt SMG bolt will need to be ramped for my SBR lower. Member MJP did the one for the 6450 several years ago.

Color of the new upper is a tiny bit more grey than my lower, but it's close enough.

Looks killer...makes me feel good about buying one myself!
Really looks great!
It will be installed on my pistol lower until my stamp gets back,
then on the Colt so no need to get BCG modified.
Nice looking rig my friend
Mine shipped yesterday for delivery later this week.
I'm stoked!
Where'd ya get that stock?
Want the same if I can find...
thanks again for the update

The stock is a mil spec smooth stock from Essential Arms. I believe it's made out of aluminum. I think Essential still sells them.

I'm ramping the bolt because my sbr lower has a DPMS style hammer. I ramped the one on the 6450 because I swapped the Colt 9mm hammer out for a JP Enterprises speed hammer. It was the only large pin hammer I could find at the time and I wanted to make the parts interchangeable between the different 9mms I had.

Edited to add...I put the buttpad on the stock because I'm a pussy.

I called Essentials & spoke with Vaughn & they are out.
They are going to have available in 1.5 weeks or so.
All aluminum construction slick mil finish
No prices on their website & they normally sell as package with tube, spring & end plate
120 bucks for just the stock shipped

Got mine & it looks pretty good for exactly 20 year old hardware.
Bore is spotless.
Some discoloration here & there.
Hope it cleans up.
Could have been packed better, but it got here safe.
Mounted up to the pistol lower just fine.
It is pretty grey in appearance & didn't match up to the either Colt uppers I own.
Can't wait to mount it up!" target="_blank"></a>" target="_blank"></a>" target="_blank"></a>
