...will NOT be my last.

H-o-o-o-l-y Christ, are these thing fun.

Here's the build sheet:

Aero Precision Lower
PSA 9mm mag block ($29.99!)
Geissele 2 Stage (G2S) Trigger
Magpul furniture
PSA Blem 9mm bolt
Milspec upper receiver w/FA and DC.  M4 feed ramps
7" Carbine length free float quad rail
7.5" 416R Stainless Steel Barrel with 1x10 twist, 1/2-36 threads
A1 Flash hider
A spare carry handle and folding front sight from the parts bin
All Metalform magazines.

This thing runs like a freakin' sewing machine.  I went out to function test it, and ripped through 200 rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger and change mags.  Not one single FTF, FTE, FT-anything. Perfection.

I need to get a fixed spacer for my TiRant 9 so I can run that on it.

And then maybe another upper, with a 5.5" barrel and 10" rail, so the can goes under the rail.

Man, I gotta get more 9mm.  You think you have an adequate stock, and then something like this happens...

People often ask "why 9mm?"

They are freakin' FUN, that's why!

Wait till it is suppressed with subs.

I shoot my 9's 3x as much as the others...
300 blk
5.56
7.62 x 39
.22 LR ded

And the Glock lower can potentially do,.357 SIG and 40 S&W .

AR's have so many good qualities
Interchangeability is just one of them.

Great little build. I have been debating on the same thing. 9mm is always a great option and being cheap to shoot and easy to reload, what's not to like??????

How do you like that PSA mag block? I was thinking of getting one for one of my lowers. Was it a very tight fit? Will it come back out without damage to the lower?

It's a hell of a deal at $29.99.

I've tried it in three lowers, PSA, Anderson, and the Aero Precision it's sitting in now. Fit is snug, but not tight.  It's definitely not coming out by accident, nor is it moving around.  It came out of each of the three lowers with a little persuasion.  No real chance to damage the lower unless you're a real caveman.  Plenty of "bottom" surface area.  I used a hardwood dowel to just give it a start and it popped right out.

I'm damn impressed by how well it fits and feeds.

Sorry, I thought I added that in the description, but I spaced it out.

Spike's ST-9X 9mm heavy buffer.

I figured I'd rather spend the money than dink around with spacers or quarters.

I was looking at this one HERE but if the PSA is better I may go that route instead.

I have trouble going with Promag anything, and since the PSA is cheaper, I can't think of a reason to go Promag.

Thats the reason I keep going back to wanting to build one.   They seem like fun.  Good enough for me.

What buffer did you install in your build?

You answered that....
