| I have a Boonie Packer adapter and use S&W magazines. The bolt hold open does not work, with the magazine empty I can pull the bolt back, and if I put preseure on the bottom of the bolt release it will grab. What do I have to adjust to get it working? |

Get out your phone or other camera, remove the upper from the lower, stick an empty mag in, and take a picture and link it to us. Briefly, if the bolt catch is not pushed up just by the spring pressure of the mag follower, then; a) is the follower even contacting the pusher in the redimag adapter? If not, adjust that. b) is the follower contacting the pusher? maybe the bolt catch spring is too strong and will need to be snipped a bit or the pusher or bolt catch are binding c) everything's hunky dory - then the problem is something in the bolt group is preventing the bolt catch from coming up far enough |
