You can sort out your problems with just a little money and some elbow grease.
1) To cure the brass from getting caught in the charging handle: http://www.cmmginc.com/product_p/22ba596.htm 2) To improve all around reliability: http://taccom3g.com/22RF_RELIABILITY_KIT.html These products really do work and will clear up most of your reliability issues. Ted |

I believe the TACCOM firing pin will not drop into a Spike's bolt. Check with TACCOM to be sure.

I can't get this gun to run through a full magazine without FTE or other issues. Common issues were http://i342.photobucket.com/albums/o434/moose00015/20130807_143443_zps062baa31.jpg and http://i342.photobucket.com/albums/o434/moose00015/20130807_143020_zps37dcd1b1.jpg I was shooting Federal bullets. Any ideas how to stop this from occuring? It's frustrating after shooting two rounds to have to pull the bolt assembly out to remove a casing. If you can't get it t run call Spike's, they will fix it. http://www.spikestactical.com/new/z/page_4.html |

I had to do a bunch of polishing on the feed ramp on the Spikes Collar and barrel. If it wasn't for the freakish accuracy of the Spikes Lother Walther barrel, I would have dumped the upper years ago.
I used that same Spikes Bolt but with a TACCOM Barrel/Collar and I have ZERO issues with no polishing, etc. |
