[ARCHIVED THREAD] - DDLES upper substitute

I'm at day 391 waiting for for DDLES upper. I have the lower but need an upper. Can anyone recommend a good setup. I ordered an upper with a 5.25 barrel and 6.35 hand guard - will be running suppressed. Looking for a similar setup. I don't have much/any experience putting an ar together so helpful input is much appreciated.

This should work for you
Adco 9mm uppers

or Ron Williams uppers for 9mm ( you might have to reload your own ammo)
With a silencer it might run with factory ammo though.

I've run a YHM 9mm Upper on my DDLES glock lower for the past year or so with 100% reliability.
