Hello all,
I've been reading a lot on these forms recently as this is my first long gun. I searched a fair amount before posting, but I can't figure out the difference on two CMMG uppers. http://www.cmmginc.com/product_p/22b1c50.htm and http://www.cmmginc.com/product_p/22b7ce6.htm Basically, I don't understand what Car LW is. I was assuming carbine light weight, but I just wanted to make sure. There isn't much difference in the pictures, just a subtle change in the barrel between the sight block and the muzzle device. What are the actual physical differences between these two uppers? Thanks for the help! Robert |

Quoted:
The description is right on the bottom of the page. They are both Carbine length gas systems. The lightweight has the pencil barrel and the other has a m4 .gov profile barrel. Both are 1:16 twist for the 22 LR. FWIW, the 22 is blowback and doesn't use a gas tube but the positioning of the block is carbine length. |

Get the stainless upgrade(s). I have what I think is the older version of http://www.cmmginc.com/product_p/22b7c16.htm.
