| Some of the conversions out there seem to be more reliable than others, or maybe less finicky would be more polite. The stainless CMMG for instance. For those of you with one of the more reliable conversions, did you have to do much to get it to run right, or was it good out of the box? My main question though, is, did you run it in more than just one AR? And were the lowers setup differently with different springs or hammers/triggers, etc? Meaning, did you throw it in a stock Colt/DPMS/RR/Palmetto and have it run good, and then put it in a Noveske/DD/frankengun with light springs and lightened hammer and still have it run right? Just wondering if even though they are transplantable between guns, if guys are generally only running them in one setup, or are having good luck putting it in anything they own. |
