Just finished my Olympic Arms build Pistol.  December I was saving money to get a HK USC in 45acp ($1200) and by the end of December i realized my dream was shattered (now $2500).  I jumped on deal in the EE for an Olympic Arms upper with 8 18 round mags.  After a little imagination and having the barrel cut down to 6.5" threaded to fit the YHM Cobra Suppressor.(3more months of waiting).  I finished it and its fun to shoot.

My first time shooting it.  The front sight was way high and I didnt have the adjustment tool so I just guessed my way on the target! (Still need to get used to the cheek weld! )

Sorry it dirty!  I just got back from the range

That pistol is nice looking.  Can you tell me more about the upper.  Did you have to mod it to work with the Olympic components?  I too am collecting parts to build one and my upper has the stock integrated handle and I would prefer a flat M4 type upper.

Its an OlympicArms Flat Top 45acp upper.  The upper is designed to be used with the Olympic Arms Magazine.  The Mags themselves act as the lower block so there is no modiing the lower.  That means I can SBR the lower and put on a 556 pistol upper and all I have to do is swap uppers and use the Pmags.  The only thing with the upper is that it has a cross pin in that has sping to eject the empty brass!  The M4 cuts in the upper reciver is filed across the bottom to work with the feedramp for the .45 round.  I will take detail pics later this evening!  Its all blow back so no gas block or gas tube to deal with.  I cant wait to shoot  it suppressed!

I imagine the Oly flat top would be hard to come by now?

Yes pics of the bottom inside of the upper would be appreciated.

Core 15 "Hard Core" Billit lower.  I love the short flared magwell.  It would have a nice flow if I put a Tango Down pistol grip on it

It is the photo or is the barrel totally misaligned with the handguard?

Confused. If it's not a trick of the photo, then your barrel is pointed severely to the left or the handguard (and front sight) is pointing severely to the right.

How did you zero it?

This is why art classes in elementary school matter - perspective.
