Bought one of those Caldwell .22 Rim fire Shooting Gallery's.
Wasn't too big a project to assemble and a lot of fun shooting
against my brother at the local quarry.

Those little moving targets are a trick to hit off hand at 75ft.
The only downside was the stick-on targets. one hit was usually enough
to either shred them, or blow them away.

I'll paint the target disc's white before we go out next time.

We were using Armscor 36gr HV HP and where ever we hit the protective
shielding it left a lead spatter without any damage to the unit.

*Just received a remote switch. I'll wire it in as soon as I pick up some batteries.

I have one also and found everything you said to be true. I did use flo. orange to paint the discs also. Where did you get the remote switch?

BUMMER !!

I just deleted the billing, but it was only about $12.00 and I found it
when I Googled, "Remote Switches". The unit is made by Logisys
and they call it "12VDC 6A On/Off Remote Relay Kit".

I double-back tapped the remote box to the top of the "Gallery"battery
box and ran all of the wires except the antenna wire down through the
grommet. The spade connectors on the "Gallery" are an odd size,
so you have to get creative when you hook both remote ground wires
directly to the battery.

A plus is the remotes come with batteries installed.
