I have a lone wolf g9 carbine and im running a 7" barrel with an SWR Trident can. I switched the buffer out with Slash's 9Q buffer and it helped some, but i am still getting a lot of blowback. I did not get the Wolff spring with it, and was curious if that would make much of a difference.

Other than that someone needs to make a left hand bolt for this thing haha. When i shoot righty i get nothing in my face. Seeing as tho i am a lefty this doesnt help me much.

Springs aren't going do squat to reduce blowback.

Either mod your existing charging handle; http://www.coloradoshooting.org/gas%20buster.htm or, get a BCM Gunfighter or PRI Gas Buster handle.

Colt 9mm uppers use an added bump that is called a 9mm gas deflector. It looks like a large, flat,  brass deflector and is spring loaded. It is attached to the upper by way of the ejection port door.

I was getting small flecks of debris and junk while running a 22 conversion kit. I added the gas sealant to the charging handle (as described above) and also installed the Colt 9mm gas deflector. Cleared everything right up.

Looks funky if your upper has a brass deflector, but it works well.

Ive seen that but not sure it would help. I have actually put my other hand behind the ejection port, in front of my face while shooting and i get absolutely nothing in my face. I was not getting anything from around the charging handle. It would seem everything is coming out of the ejection port or am i missing something?

The ejection port cover is something i see on a lot of 9mm ar's do those actually make that much of a difference? Also, im not getting how the dust cover opens up AND the bulge part stays right where it is against the receiver.

The 9mm AR type rifles are blow-back operated. The unburned gunpowder and other junk from firing gets thrown into the action and a good bit comes out of the ejection port.
Regular 5.56 rifles delay opening until the pressure drops and there seems to be less junk being thrown back.

The blast deflector is held in place by the same long pin that retains the ejection port door. It is spring loaded at the bottom, forcing it to pivot, so that it stays snug to the receiver. It is not tight enough to break things if it gets struck by being dropped or brushed against something. The ejection port cover is cut, almost in half, to allow the bast deflector to fit the opening. Of course the port door opens up and stays out of the way when firing. You close it just like on the 5.56 rifles.

Like I said, installing the blast deflector cut down on the amount of junk flying out of my 22 conversion. It is worth a try.
