[ARCHIVED THREAD] - TacSol replacement extractor spring

I've been running a dedicated TacSol upper for about the last 3 years and have had nothing but great things to say about it. The last two times out at the range though I have been having issues with it jamming. So I pulled the bolt apart tonight to clean it and noticed my extractor spring was broken into two pieces. So my question is, where can I get a replacement spring for it as one is not included in the repair kits? Thanks.

I'd suggest you call Tactical Solutions. They will probably be willing to send you a replacement spring or give a description where you might be able to buy a comparable spring at a hardware store.

I had the same problem about a month ago, Emailed Tactical Solutions asking if I could buy a couple of new springs from them. They do not have any kind of parts list on their web site. They Emailed back the same day that the springs had been shipped, no charge, no shipping. I had it three days later. They will fix you up.

You can also cut down a Ruger 10/22 extractor spring as well and tune the tension...

Thanks for the replies. I called them up and now have three new springs coming in the mail.
