I don't know if I am in the correct forum or not but I have a question. I own a legally registered Colt 635 9MM SMG and it is all stock. I have been reading about how my mag catch and lower receiver pins may be being battered to death by the violent bolt. I run a stock FA bolt that appears to be ramped. So far it runs like a champ, stock with Colt factory mags. I have ordered a Spikes long 8.5oz buffer and KNS pin set. Should I bother with the Wolff XP spring and quarter spacer trick? I do not want any damage to my precious Colt factory MG. I do not run a supressor, just stock 10.5" bbl with FH.

I have the same set-up I added the Wolf xp carbine spring same for all carbines and the buffer spacer and it runs great. Same as before, but I guess with less pain on the pins. Spikes longer heavier buffer is the best way to go, and that would be the only item needed I was told. Good Luck
