I installed a 3lb single stage Timney trigger in my S&W 15/22. I've put over 200 rounds of CCI mini mag through this gun with the stock trigger without a single misfire. After installing the trigger I took it to the range and had 3 misfires out of 70 rounds. I believe I read somewhere that a rimfire cartridge needs more force for reliable ignition than a centerfire cartridge. Is this true? Could the hammer spring be too light for 22LR?

I have the exact trigger in my 15/22 with no issues. I did have to tweak the ejection rod ever so slightly but that problem appeared almost 1k rounds after installing the trigger so I don't know that it was related.
