I've got a M4LEP, an I've got a question, I picked up a Magpul CTR buttstock for it at a gunshow an its a little loose on the slide, what I'd like to know is if the receiver extension tube is a mil spec on these or the civilian?  Would anyone happen to know?
Thanks Chris

If it's mil-spec the the back of the tube will be flat, if it's commercial it will be slanted

If you got the "A" model, it should be mil spec.
No idea about the polymer but since they use the same butt stocks, I would assume mil spec diameter.

Thanks guys that clears that up, I have a mil spec tube with a civilian CTR/MOE,  it fits but its got some wiggle in it.  Maybe I can find someone that wants to trade.

Or, you can use some tape at strategic points to make the fit tighter....
Scotch, Aluminum or even blue painters tape should be pretty good fix's.

Good Luck and Welcome to ARFCOM....
