OK i know that chiappa has some issues with the bolt on the 22 upper.
I swear i seen somewhere about issues where the bolt is coming back and the back otf the bolt hitting the buffer tube assembly. They replaced the spring and buffer with a solid wooden dowel to prevent the small tabs on back of the bolt from breaking due to metal fatigue. Best i can tell it looks like i might have a similar issue considering my options to prevent the issue. *Dang it and my google-foo is not sufficient* Suggestions .. cause i cant find anything yet :) |
